Virgin Beach Bali: A Hidden Treasure for Relax

If you are planning to spend your holiday in Bali, I guess you already searched for some interesting tourist destinations. Almost all of the most visited places in Bali are beaches, Tanah Lot beach, Kuta beach, Jimbaran beach, Nusa Dua beach, Sanur beach, or Canggu beach. All of it already famous and many people will be there. Well, I totally agree all of it has its own beauty and charisma as the iconic beach, but have you ever wondering if you can find another beautiful beach with not so many people there?

I’m going to tell you about a hidden beach with creamy white sand combine with black sand in the east Bali which not so many people know about this place, even sometimes google maps give the wrong way to go there, hmmm a little bit challenging. They call this hidden beach as Virgin Beach.

Actually the name of this beach “Virgin Beach” is given by many tourists, and now the beach is known as Virgin Beach Bali. Can you guess why many tourists gave that name to this beach? Yup! because not many people know about this beach and it is a hidden treasure. So, it is positive and reasonable. Virgin Beach Bali is also known as Pantai Perasi or Perasi beach for local people. Located on Karangasem Regency will make you take 2 hours from Kuta to get there, it is quite far.

I think if you want to go to Virgin Beach, I suggest you have a full day tour in Karangasem because it is quite far from Kuta, Canggu, or Ubud. So, rather than waste your time on the road, why do not you use it to explore other cool places in Karangasem which are not far away from Virgin Beach Bali, such as Tenganan Village, Tirta Gangga Water Palace, and Taman Ujung Karangasem. Book a tour for a day in Karangasem can be a good choice. As I wrote above, sometimes google maps can give the wrong way to Virgin Beach Bali, I think to go there with someone already know about the way will be safe and save your time.

The best time to enjoy this beach is at 6 a.m., to see the sunrise, until 5 pm.  Why not until sunset? Because Virgin Beach is located in East Bali, so you will not see the sunset in the east right? You can find some local restaurants here and the price is cheaper than in Kuta. When you come here on a sunny day, swimming and snorkeling are the most favorite activities to do at Virgin Beach Bali. Sunbathing also good to do here with a message from local people there. Virgin Beach also has a very beautiful view, make sure to take some pictures here.

I really suggest you visit Virgin Beach Bali if you need a quiet beach to relax also to visit other interesting places in Karangasem. Bali has many places to visit and much-hidden treasure too, so if you are in Bali you can find one or more hidden places and feel the difference.
